Have you read "Traveling with Pomegranates"? In it, she talks about all the ideas and

pieces that came together for the book, "Life of Bees." Mentioning her, made me want to read it again. If I remember right, I listened to it on audio the first time.

 
No, not yet. this new book is about the Grimke sisters, early abolitionists and women's right gals

It's historical fiction, but she did a lot of research. I listened to the audio version. very good.

 
It is SO good. And a really interesting historic piece written

as a novel. Beautiful beautiful writing, as well as a lot of suspense.
