I love this new pan! Martha Stewart Tea Cakes...

My daughter and I have been droooling over this pan for months

One day I will have to buy it. But I am also concerned about cleaning it.

And the ice cream cupcake pan! So cute! I have the castle bundt cake pan

and I love it, but it is a real pain to clean. The cottage pan is better. But now I have two more baking pans to lust over, and nowhere to keep them!

LOL. My Inaugural Tea Cakes....I swear, I got a cookbook off the shelves and set in on the counter.

while I mixed up the batter. Does that count?

My Avocado-Apricot Jam-Fiori di Sicili Tea Cakes

1 very ripe avocado
2 tbl. soft butter
1/4 cup apricot jam
1/2 tsp. Fiori di Sicili

Cream.

Add:

1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt.
1 tsp. lemon zest
Juice of 1 lemon

Stir, bake.

Glaze:

1 cup confectioners sugar
1 tbl. bacon drippings
1 tsp. vanilla.
Add hot water to make smooth pourable glaze.

These were inhaled. Unfortunately, they were a litte too chunky for the molds to make precise copies, but everyone was guessing like the dickens trying to figure out what I put in the tea cakes. : ) The batter is very "green", but after they bake, it's more "old gold"

ok, everyone -- as much as I love these cute things, how do you CLEAN them?!

I hate using my mini bundt pans because they are such a pain to clean...

AH!! and the absolutely adorable little angel must be the one you couldn't bring to lunch?

I LOVE that cupcake cake... and that cake plate... if you ever want to put it in larder barter, let me know!!! smileys/smile.gif
