I made another meat cake

Never heard of bobotie before, Googled it and found an interesting, although old, (1981) article

from the NY Times about it, with a recipe. Here's a link. Anyone else know any more about it? How do you pronounce it, bo BO tee, or bobo TYE? Thanks.
