I made Joe's very yummy and beautiful Fig Rye bread

It looked like it came from a fancy bakery and is so good. I did the dough in my kitchenaid mixer. I just lightly stirred the dry ingredients into the wet then let it stand about ten minutes before kneading with the dough hook. Finished by hand. I think next time I might turn it into raisin rye by adding about a 1/4 cup of brown sugar and some cinnamon & chopped toasted walnuts instead of using figs. Dates would be good too.
