I made Meryl's Jam Filled Muffins over the weekend. I miss Meryl.

I may have mentioned this before, but I found a contact number for RvB and called him out of the...

...blue. I hadn't seen any posts from him on the board for a few months and decided to look him up.

He was so touched that I would make the effort to check up on him! We had a wonderful discussion that lasted nearly an hour.

He was one very special guy, among a slew of special people who we no longer see here.

Oh my, I thought I had read that he had been ill and passed away and I posted

this comment on here. So sorry...I was obviously mistaken. Hope he is well?

 
No Karen, this was years ago! Sorry, I should've made that more clear. I think he passed since.

Sadly, as the world is a much less kind, less playful and less gentlemanly place without him.

I do miss his posts.
