I made Pat's Cilantro Coconut Rice from T&T it is always great and always sticky. Am I doing

something wrong. Has anyone else had this problem. I wash the rice, I use Jasmine rice. What am I doing wrong?????????

Are you over cooking the rice?

Yes, my question too- mine usually turns out a tiny bit sticky but that's all

mine turned out very sticky too. I think it's the coconut milk that keeps it very moist and sticky

I ended up making some additional plain rice and mixing it in. Mine had turned out way too gloppy, and I'm sure it was something I did, but the end result with the added rice was simply delicous.

Sticky was an understatement, gloppy, more like it. Every time I make it always the same,

I will try adding extra rice next time. Thanks for the idea. Love the rice, everyone loves it, just gummy. Thanks for all the responses. I feel better now that everyone has had the same experience.

Try it again. Mine never turns out too sticky. I never add rice.

I turn off the burner (gas) just before the rice is completely cooked and I let it "rest". It continues to absorb liquid and turns out to be the perfect consistency- which is just a little sticky.

Maybe you two are cooking it too long.
