I made the easiest fudge I have ever seen. It is made with chips and canned frosting. (m)

There is a very lengthy list of combinations so I will give you the site and how to access the recipes.

Go to www.nancys-kitchen.com

On the right side, on top, you will see the Daily Newsletter Site. click on that, then go to Nov.14th, page 1. Scroll down and you will come to the list. Try it, I think you might find it fun to experiment.

Here's one - rec: Foxysnana's 2 Ingredient "Fudge"

** 2 Ingredient "Fudge" **

A family friend makes this for all types of church get-togethers. I ate some when Mom brought it home and I could not believe how simple this is to put together.

12-16 servings
1 8x8 pan
time to make 5 min 5 min prep

1 (12 ounce) can of ready to spread frosting, any flavor
1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips, any flavor (ie. chocolate chips)

1. Make sure you have complimentary flavors.

2. Melt the chips in a microwave safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

3. Melt frosting until pourable, about 30 seconds.

4. Mix together the chips and frosting and pour into a greased 8x8 pan.

5. Chill until set, about an hour.

6. Makes a very soft, smooth fudge.

7. Do not use the toffee chips, as they don't melt very well.

8. Try any other flavor combo you can think of.

Inside here is the text for the recipe on that page. Also, click on link for Nov 14 pg1.

Nancy, this is for Carol K. in the Nov. 13 newsletter. The directions for frosting & chips fudge is simple. I have used Hershey & Nestles chips, and they both turn out. The difference there is Hershey's are 12 oz and Nestles are 10 oz. but it doesn't seem to make a difference. The directions are: using a microwaveable dish, spread the chips over the bottom of dish and cook for 90 seconds. Then put the whole can of frosting on top of the chips in the dish and cook that for 90 seconds. The frosting will be melted. Now stir it real well to mix and pour into an 8x8" pan that has been buttered. I put foil in the pan and buttered that to make it easier to take out after it set. This is so cool and I thank the person who sent it in. You probably saved me days of standing to make the candy for Christmas.

Chocolate-covered potato chips are the ultimate sin food for me.....

I remember sitting in a whirlpool spa by the ocean on Maui on my honeymoon 20 years ago, sipping cold champagne and nibbling chocolate-covered Maui chips, the chips thick-cut, lovely, greasy and perfectly GLORIOUS. It was one of the best things I ever tasted, right up there with truffles and eggs in the South of France.

Thank you Julie for keeping me from looking like a complete idiot! LOL>>>

I might even try a few.
