Saturday I was at our local fair to judge a food contest and I met a guy who had just won his own food show. His name was Nathan and he said he was the "bald white guy" in the contest and he seemed quite personable. He told us that he was in the process of filming 2 shows a day, for a total of 18 or somewhere thereabouts. From what he says he is in the Hollywood farmer's market every weekend. I shared a prize winning tamale with his girlfriend, who was very nice too.

I vaguely remember ads for this "contest" when watching tv with my mom but as I don't catch that stuff regularly (don't watch tv at home), I don't remember too much.

He seemed like a nice "Kid."

Man, am I getting old. . .

 
Well, there was a "bald white guy" named Nathan....

who was pne of the contestants on the last Food Network "win your own show" show, but he didn't win that one. Guy Fiori did.
That being said, it may be that he did win another contest, perhaps one that didn't get as much air time?
He did seem very personable, and he loved going to farmer's markets and green grocers for fresh ingredients.

BTW, you aren't the only one who thinks they all look like kids!

When mentioning filming his shows, he said something about the Discovery Channel too.

Geeze, I don't know now! I'm geezered out and he's a kid!
