I miss a week on the swap and come back to all these yummy threads...

I feel fine, mostly. I have to fight overwhelming urges to nap in the pm, though.

The baby is due January 11th, so I've got a few more months to go. But the time is going fast! We really need to get started on the nursery. I can't wait to decorate it. Such fun...

I have to fight the urge, too, and my 'baby' is 34 smileys/smile.gif Sleep NOW... while you can!

I NEVER used to nap and now I just can't help myself.

Some days it's all I can do to drag myself to my office (down the hall! I work at home.). Thank god I don't have to go anywhere. I don't know how pregnant women commute.

The baby is kicking a lot now--such an amazing feeling. I just want to lie on my bed and feel the movement.

Enjoy this special time - and give in to the urge and sleep while you can, and the

little kicker doesn't keep you awake while getting comfy after you do. Such fun!

Methinks you will all enjoy this true story about a former neighbor of ours. Many years ago, Janet

was pregnant with her first child, Blair, and also tired much of the time so she'd begun taking a long nap in the morning and an even longer nap in the afternoon. Then she'd feel horribly guilty when her husband would come home from the office about 5:30 PM and ask her how her day had gone, what had she done all day, etc., etc.

This is how she got over the guilt pangs==>

After getting up from her afternoon nap, she'd grab a can of Pledge and walk all over the house spraying it. Nope, she was NOT dusting; she was simply spraying Pledge into the air as you would a room freshener. When husband Roger would walk in the door after work, he'd immediately be hit with the smell of Pledge and would promptly say, "Wow, this place sure smells clean. I can tell you've been busy all day." Janet would merely smile sweetly and turn back to the stove to continue preparing their supper. !!!

Of course, you can't use this on your husband every day, Amanda_Pennsylvania, but it may come in handy on occasion. Smile.

Amanda, make sure that you are not anemic...

with my youngest son, my ob forgot to check me for anemia, and I was anemic. I have never felt so tired in my whole life. I could and would fall asleep anywhere and everywhere (including a booth at Chuck E. Cheeses!). It is just something you might want to make sure of.
