My note to myself says weigh the cucs and the water and figure out how much salt it takes to make a 2.5 percent brine! The cucs and water together weigh 5.6 pounds

Help, please!!

 
That's what makes me mad at myself--I was a science major and was particularly

proud of mastering the rule of solving dilutions. By including the cuke weight in your question, which really only has to do with the total amount of brine you make, I was thrown off. LOL Making a 2.5% solution is easy!!
I should have been able to figure it out better, but the pandemic seems to have robbed my brain!! LOL
