I need to get a new immersion blender...the blade of my Cuisinart broke off. Any recommendations?

I loved my Breville BUT...

like every other Breville product that I've owned it broke with minimal use. The much less expensive, corded cuisinart I have now is not as nice or handy but has endured.

 
Me, three! I like that is is easy to clean - I put the blade piece in the dishwasher.

Mine has 9 speeds, and I use it infrequently, but have had it for years and am very happy with it.

 
I have the 9-speed as well, don't think they make it anymore. I got mine cheap because it's blue

and it was being closed out. If it hadn't been such a deal, I probably wouldn't have gotten it but am so glad I did. Works much better when pureeing soups, etc than trying to put it in a blender.
