I picked up a bunch of baby trunips with greens and baby beets with greens...

and am desperately in need of ideas to use them quickly.

I can saute them, add them to pasta dishes, but what else?

Salad ideas?

Thanks! The dip looks like it may get to the party on Sunday.

I have a pork butt ready for the smoker. It will be pulled pork on Sunday and I will need some other dishes.

I know we can't eat all of these greens without help, or without freezing some for later.

I also picked up a couple of heads of leaf lettuce and a bag of pea pods. Got to love a flexible CSA.

Lamb Stew

Took the last of the leg of lamb and added baby white turnips, carrot, onion, celery, ginger, broth and spices to come up with a lovely lamb stew. The sweet baby turnips go perfectly with the lamb.

that would be delicious. I just got some baby turnips a few days ago and have beet greens cooking

I cook baby beets and greens separately. I like it that way but serve them together.

Why not take the turnips, cook and mash with potatoes- or just caramelize with butter and a tiny bit of brown sugar before serving?
