I planned to make fig jam today but I couldn't find regular pectin and had to buy Pomona.

Now I am trying to figure out how much to put in. Have any of you used it?

This is the recipe

8 oz dried figs

2 1/4 c water

4 1/2 c sugar

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp lemon zest

1/4 c fresh lemon juice

1 box dry fruit pectin- which is what I can't find!~

 
This is the recipe I used but I added a little more lemon juice, left out the vanilla and

added a heaping 1/4 tsp each of cinnamon and nutmeg. I made half a recipe and got 8 half cup jars. I did chop the figs up but at the end of the cooking I pulsed a few times with the immersion blender . I usually don't process but I did process these for 15 min. It goes so well with funky cheese!
