in a little more than two weeks, Joe and Jacques will be here! I'm so excited!!!

Joe has been in constant contact with me since Don died last year and has become a very close and much loved friend. instead of emails and phone calls, I finally get to throw my arms around him.

we're all looking forward to a wonderful evening together.

 
after the above thread, I should check what he's wearing before getting to close '-D I'd be

Oh, it's my fantasy too, but we're flying with limited baggage. A chunk of frozen duck confit might

attract attention. I can't imagine duck fat showing up much different from plastic explosives on the X-ray monitor. This will have to wait till a more pre-planned visit.

Meanwhile, Randi has promised to open a gargantuan tin of French escargot that she's been saving. How can I top that?
