I was searching for a rec that I make at christmas, and stumbled upon this... My laugh for the am!

Ha! Reminds me of one Thanksgiving when everyone hanging around the kitchen started doing

tequila shots and not only finished an entire bottle of anejo tequila but most of the cognac that I had reserved for gravy, and the port in the back of the liquor cupboard! I had to shoo them out while I finished dinner alone! But it was great fun.

 
Thanks for the laugh. I'm almost finished making 14 different

kinds of cookies (about 1,000 total) and don't think this one will be on the list!

 
WOW, what a ton of Xmas cookies. One yr I made about 700, and it took me several days to recover!

I have absolutely nothing to add to that Barb, except...

We're back in NYC for the first week of May. I've got so many friends in Manhattan that I am plotting a cocktail party in our suite at the Hilton. What the hell. I don't know how I'm going to see everyone outside of that. Can you make a mid-afternoon cocktail party?
