I watched Bobby Flay last weekend use a Mango slicer and now>>

Orchid, that is really nice. I could have used it in FL when the

mangoes were falling like crazy in my yard!

Here is the CI link, Once someone showed me how to do it.......

cut the criss-cross across each half and then cut pieces from the slices along the seed, it wasn't that hard.
For me, there isn't room in my tool bag for a $12 tool that only does one thing. I use my paring knife to do the little diamond pieces and then the chefs to slice them out of the skin.
If I tried one, I would surely agree with Denice, but the cheapest I ever see mangos are $.69 @ and have maybe 10-15#. I remember being in Florida and having people I worked with bringing bags of mangos for me and crew coming down from the Homestead area with bags of Avocados. Boy, life in the tropics!!Tough!
Ya think Bobby's getting a kickback from Oxo??

Thanks, I ALWAYS have trouble with that stupid seed! I have plenty>>>

of space to store it and spend most of my silly money on gadgets so I'm getting one.
