Idea for next year's Halloween Parties - Caldron of Fingers

My friend Kim made this "caldron of fingers." They're breadsticks with a red dyed almond at the tip to look like a finger nail. What a cute idea! Here's a link to the photo.

We made these once with ladyfingers for a Brownie Safety Day

The kids loved them, but the moms were a bit grossed out. I can't remember if we actually practiced bandaging them with fruit rollups or if that was an idea of mine that got voted down.

The trick is to shape the dough real thin as they puff a lot when baking.
