First please forgive me, my English is still learning, so sentences may not fluent.

I was living in Shanghai China boy, when I was very young when it is very favorite food my mother cooking food.

In China, filial piety is a very important virtue. So from my mother to learn cuisine cooking methods, and in the subsequent life can I let her taste the dishes. Up to now, I have five years as the family cook.

Although I am not a trained chef formal, but many of China's civil cooking methods and techniques have a certain understanding. If you have any questions on Chinese cuisine, I can ask questions, I know I will have to tell you. Very pleased to be here to you!

I love tofu also, but have never cooked with it myself - I've only had it in Asian restaurants, but

I really should use it in my own cooking. I like it a lot when it's stir fried with assorted vegetables, and I'm just wondering if this type of dish (tofu with broccoli, snowpeas, peppers, etc.), is considered authentic Chinese or is it simply created for American tastes?

You said there is still difference between cooking methods

Meryl, you are talking about with these cooking methods with tofu in China is very common. In China, as a kind of ingredients to create a new cooking method is a gloriously, in particular, the housewives. China's traditional cooking methods are continuously modified to adapt to different tastes. In China, the so-called American tastes, McDonald's and KFC is limited to the supply of food, loved eating only children or adolescents, most Chinese people only like traditional Chinese food.
