Kalustyan's in NYC has citron halves. I tried to order on-line a few years ago, but their web site was frighteningly insecure. Not long after that, my sister asked me to come to NYC with her, and I bought some there. It is delicious, and my husband said it tasted the way he remembered it should. Their site is now much better, and we have finally run out of our carefully conserved supply, so I have ordered some more.
If I could find an actual Citron, I would try to candy or glace it myself. Fresh Market had the Buddha's hand citrons once, but I haven't seen them this year.
