If you like really hot salsa, I have a new one to buy. Mrs. Renfro's Habanero Salsa.

There is no hint of habanero, but it is kind of like a Pace Picante, but really hot. I like it. Different salsas for different things. I had this with a burrito and I really liked it. My mouth is still on fire. It isn't anything like the habanero flavor I like, but I usually cannot find a commercial salsa that is hot enough, and this one is. You could doctor it up a bit with cilantro and green onions, but for a quick heat hit, it is good; at least if you can stomach Pace.

I also bought the Jalapeno Salsa Verde, and that was very good too. Just remember these are "Pace" type salsas, but I liked them a lot and will buy them again.

 
Dawn, you might also want to try Herdez brand Hot Salsa Casera (made in Mexico). I used that for a

shrimp ceviche and it's really good. I'll look for Mrs. Renfro's.

 
That was my favorite commercial brand, but this one is way hotter.

I think I would like to mix them both together.
