"Ignore Poster"

If anyone seems to have consistent personality conflicts with another member of the group, then please use the "Ignore Poster" feature. That's what it's for. Open one of their messages and click on the "Ignore Poser" link in the Options menu to the left of the message. To remove someone from your ignore list, click on "Account" then on "Ignore List". This forum was built to take into account the sad fact that some people just can't seem to get along. Try it and see if it reduces some of the stress in your life.

Mimi, this is an excellent feature

I used it for months with Gretchen, but since she continually responded to my posts (as previously noted), and since with this feature you still see the responses are there, just the text is deleted, and coupled with receiving several PMs asking me why I was ignoring her posts to me, I decided to unblock her so as not to appear "rude." Mistake I know.

I just wanted to point out the limitations of the feature when someone is intent on soliciting a response where one is not desired.
