Any author who admits to a penchant for "slutty" desserts is okay in my book.

From Ms. Goin: "Not to be vulgar, but I think that desserts should have a little something-something going on. They should be decadent, a little over-the-top, crave-able, something really to long for and something to gasp at when you have it."

Also, each and every recipe has a specific wine recommendation that I could actually understand and appreciate.
