I'm thinking about making this cranberry wreath coffee cake and need about 6 of them. freeze?

Untried, but I would freeze without frosting them. You can make the icing

ahead of time and then frost after thawing. I just think it would go through the whole bake/wrap/freeze/thaw process neater that way. Especially if it's a soft icing.

(I SWEAR I posted this answer already, but don't see it. Is there an "alternate universe" swap out there? If so, I hope I have thin thighs and only one chin in it.

I was thinking of putting the icing in small ziplocs and giving them out that way for the gals to

drizzle the icing on the cakes themselves. still pondering this. I wanted to make the cookie molded cookies, but I took a close look at the one I thought was a Christmas tree, and it's actually a birthday bear. rats. I can still make the round one, but I'm kinda over that idea now. this may be my last xmas holiday at work, yay, so I think a nice big coffeecake wreath would be nice. they don't know it yet. we may be purchasing over in Lighthouse cove. girlfriend outings!

How about using an uncut disposable pastry bag? That way they can decorate however they want.

I've started putting any extra icing in one and then popping it in the freezer. Amazing how much weight I don't gain by NOT eating all the left-over icing.

See ya in FL!
