I'm thinking about the cheese combination at 31217 that Marilyn

prepared and wondering if it would be good stuffed in colourful mini peppers? Most stuffed pepper recipes online are heated - not sure if this would heat well or not? Any advice is appreciated.

Book club next Monday night and I'm looking for a couple of colourful, tasty apps'

Thanks

betty, I can answer your question about reheating: I scraped what was left and added it to

orzo pasta and sautéed veggies. I've eaten that by reheating twice now. It turns into a very smooth sauce...coated everything nicely but has no bulk, so remember that. When cold, the dip is thick and dense and could be swirled to hold its shape. When heated, it all melts.

Thank you Marilyn - perhaps I'll serve the cheese cold on

crostini then. I like the idea of the cheese topped with pistachios and drizzled with oil. Sounds lovely.

Thank you Charley - that was kind of you to make a

suggestion. Unfortunately one of the women cannot eat pork.
I appreciate your suggestion.
I'm thinking maybe bilini's - as the book is set in Russia. I believe they can be frozen.

Betty

Ahh, those dips don't work with "Russia". Cucumber slices with some sour cream,

dill, capers and topped with a little smoked salmon would be a little Russian. Or that put in a blini would be delicious.

I'll mention that there is turkey sausage of all kinds for those who don't eat pork.

That sounds perfect - thank you.

I'm going to try to freeze the bilini's - Ive read that one can.
