Many of you have noticed that there are a few bugs in this little system that are persistent and interfere with the proper functioning of the forum. One is the "31 replies" bug that we've seen recently in the past week or so, and the other is an issue with passwords where new users or people who lose their passwords are unable to log in with the system-generated password. We have had trouble with the developer resolving these issues. In addition to this, this forum is quite active and now has a huge archive and this little system wasn't built to handle such an active group.
In order to address these issues and ensure that the forum continues to run smoothly as it grows, we are working on a new one for you. Rest assured that we have learned from others' mistakes and our first priority is to make sure that you are happy and want to stick around! When we have something worth showing you, I'm going to ask a few regulars to take a look at it, and give us their feedback and suggestions. In reply to this post you may vote for people you trust to represent you.
I just wanted to give you a "heads-up" so that when this happens it will not be a complete shock. We will be moving the forum to a new site with a different address but we will maintain the link from Finerkitchens.com so that no one gets lost in the transition. I think you will like what we have in store for you.
