and so I bought a black tahini paste because it looked too cool to pass

now I need to justify the acquisition... anyone has a tried and true recipe for it to shine? Well, shine as much as a black thing can shine

and while you are at it, I also got black sesame powder.

Yes, it is some type of illness. But at least I have fun with it, and I am not harming anyone... right? right?

 
Ah Sally, I have so many impulsive buys in my pantry and cannot remember why I bought them...

however, yes, I do have fun with them. Piment d' espelette and truffle butter are no doubt my most used impulse buys. Now, what do I do with Porcini Powder, and the garlic shoots from Penzeys. Penzeys had no idea what to do with them either, but asked their customers who bought the dried product to experiment with them, I have put them in soups, omelets, chili, and they are just meh! Porcini powder sure smells great, but I have yet to use it.
