Looking for recipes/inspiration/answers, I found some great typos. In a cake recipe, the final step was to let satan in the oven for 15 minutes. This was in a microwave recipe, so maybe they needed satan in there to make it cook correctly?

and then there was the pie which called for the top crust to be cut into strips and arranged lettuce fashion. I'm sorely tempted.

I am not a Jay Leno fan. I don't watch the Tonight Show, except for Monday nights...

...when he does a bit called "headlines".

I get such a hoot out of some of the typos. I consider it a huge bonus if they have time to do some wedding announcements from the papers at the end. The combinations of last names in the headlines is a riot.

Didn't Letterman do that too? Haven't watched in years

I agree, some of them are great. Also, advertising mistakes.

I am a Letterman fan. Have been since '82. He has done a bit called...

...'dumb ads' for years. I think Leno's people "borrowed" the concept.

'82 is around when I started watching him also

He's toned down a lot since then, so I've rather lost motivation to watch but then I don't watch ANY television lately. I loved it when he sent the audience to Florida for xmas.
