Last night my husband took me to Bar La Grassa, the hot new restaurant in Minneapolis. Everything was terrific but I was particularly enthralled with the Bagna Cauda Cauliflower. Does anyone have a recipe. It had sauteed spinach and lots of garlic and carmelized cauliflower and was just amazing.

Thanks

Kathleen-could you describe the dish a little more? Bagna Cauda is generally

just a warm olive oil dip with garlic and anchovies for raw veggies.

Sure. It was gorgeous

It was thick, large, slices of carmelized cauliflower mixed with sauteed spinach in the warm bagna cauda sauce. My guess is that they just carmelized the cauliflower, sauteed the spinach and then dumped all the warm sauce over it and served it on a platter. It was delicious.

For the last decade, the lentils with sauteed spinach and goat cheese at Mia Francesca in Chicago was my favorite restaurant dish. It was dethroned last night when I had this cauliflower dish. So yummy. The restaurant is too hard to get into to make it a regular excursion so I MUST master this one at home.
