it was way too much for two. Next time will make 1/3 of the recipe. I used half and half instead of heavy cream, Penzeys maharajah curry powder and panko for bread crumbs which I recommend. So nice and crunchy. Curry flavor is very subtle, nice addition. Baked in one dish, no sheet pan, for 17 minutes. Next time will cook for 2-3 minutes less before testing scallops. Served with rice, sugar snap peas, and green salad.
Really loved this recipe. Better than my old go to that starts with poaching scallops and has the cheese in the sauce instead of the crumbs. This would make a great meal for guests, as it can be made ahead and baked at the last minute.
