King Arthur used to have little packets like yeast

To make Pain Levain and one other kind that I used and made the most fabulous french sourdough ever. What they have now looks similar.

My niece used this exact sour-dough starter from KAF, Marilyn, and she has turned out some dynamite

bread with it over the years.
