Well we all know this...
my first rude awakening was in 5th grade health class where we were supposed to plan a "menu" for dinner. (come on, we're 10 years old)....So I grandly displayed piles of pasta, topped with sauce, gargantuan meatballs, garlic bread, and dessert. Teacher ripped me a new one about the "starch fest." Seemed perfectly normal to me!
But then all those combinations. Some I never do. The rest, maybe once or even twice during the year. So what.
Just finished my old fart physical, all the blood work came back sterling. Low cholesterol, sugar, etc. I'm a bouncing healthy ba..uh...boy.
So the moral of the story is: enjoy what you like in moderation.
