Interesting method - Bundt Pan Roasted Chicken

It appears that the height of the Bundt Pan is preventing the bottom part of the chicken

from browning. I used to have a pan made for a recipe like this. You could actually pour wine, beer and herbs into a tube part of the pan and that infused the chicken while cooking. Then you could add veggies around the edge. It was shorter and the chicken turned a nice golden brown all over.

Exactly what I was going to say.....

I am not wild about this technique - if one wants to do that it might be better to go for the center part of an Angel food cake pan - place the chicken on it without the outside of the pan. Sit the whole thing on a large metal baking pan with potatoes and the other suspects around.. This way the chicken would brown all the way

I still don't find the method visually appealing... smileys/wink.gif

I need to have some clever ideas in the lab... desperately so... smileys/smile.gifsmileys/wink.gifsmileys/wink.gif
