I just cleaned out my refrigerator because it was packed with "white carbs" which I normally try to avoid:
mashed potatoes
grits made with water and chicken broth
grits made with milk and cheese
white rice
pasta
gnocchi
bread
flour tortilla
par-cooked Yukon potatoes
onion dip
and a half-gallon of frozen yogurt.
Then I tossed out beer-cheese potato chips, Trader Joe's Frito-style corn chips, Trader Joe herbed popcorn and organic blue corn chips.
January can't come too soon for my thighs.
