Everything is fine in Stillwater.
We barely got a any rain. Moore, a town about 80 miles south of here took a huge hit. I have heard that a number of horses were killed, but so far, no human fatalities are being reported. Dogs are searching an elementary school but it sounds like that is just a precaution. The dangerous weather has passed for tonight although the tornado watch does not expire until 10pm. Yesterday I tempted fate by making risotto while we were under a tornado watch.

I know, I know, but
I needed to use some morels that had been picked quite a while earlier. I have on more than one occasion stopped in the middle of the risotto process, turned of the cook top, and just let the pan sit until I was ready to finish and serve. When preparing for a dinner party it sits in the refrigerator over night.
