Cape Cod last week. A mini lemon and ? herb cone...looked like a sugar cone, filled with tuna tartar and topped with a wasabi cream. Looked great and tasted even better. I'd love to wow dinner guests with this.

No...you just have to be quick and be prepared to have burned fingertips.

You also need a pizelle or a krumkake iron and a cone for shaping.

Sarabeth Levine has a nice recipe in her book...or you can just use the recipe that comes with the krumkake iron.

PS: I got out the Slater books from the library. My..they look VERY nice. Wish my local veggies were worthy of those recipes.

There's a similar recipe in Thomas Keller's French Laundry book. It's a savory cone w/ tuna tartar.

I just stopped in here first.

Sorry

I've enjoyed that recipe and agree with you Steve. They are memorable & hauntingly delicious.

Ah, then I am the one who is sorry. It was on Facebook too & someone said it was SPAM. Definitely
