Is it just me, or are are you seeing everything, and I mean EVERYTHING available in pumpkin spice?

I get the candles, bakery goods, coffee, etc. This year, I see it in any consumable good. I saw

deodorant yesterday, lip gloss, cheerios, marshmallows, etc... It seems like it has taken over all the shelves!

 
I sure don't see the appeal. I hate going to Trader Joe's this time of year, everything pumpkin.

 
I could not agree more! If they didn't feel they had to put all the spices into everything also

it wouldn't be so bad. I love cinnamon, allspice, etc. but not in coffee, crepes, buns, martinis, and EVERYTHING possible and impossible!! LOL

 
It's not just you - it has taken over everything here. Even in carbonated beverages - ick.

Of course, I tried to find some canned pumpkin puree for baking at my market, and had to look high and low before finding it in the baking aisle on the very bottom shelf.

 
Saw a huge display at Kroger for PUMPKIN BRATWURST. That was a week ago.

Yesterday afternoon I saw a boatload of them in the quick sale bin.

Evidently, pumpkin spice flavored bratwurst didn't go over so well.

I recall a few years back there was some sort of pumpkin shortage, and even the stores ran out

of it early. I was told that by a grocer. Maybe they have a glut this year and need to make up for lost revenue.
