Is there a way of getting a notification when a blog updates?

I like the photography and prose at Kuidaore (linked)...but it hasn't been updated since mid-April. I'm tired of pinging it everyday to see if there is a new entry.

Any slick tricks out there?

Do you use a reader? I use Google reader and blogs with updates are highlighted. I also get some

my email. I use Google reader, but there are others. It's easy to enter the blogs you want to follow, then just go there every day and it will tell you which have new entries.

ummm, I haven't a clue what a "reader" is, so...no, I guess I don't use one.

But I'll look into now. Thanks C! This is just what I needed.
