ISO: ISO 80's inspired food ideas for party

In Search Of:
I had to go to one of these not too long ago and I had to stop and think...

about what the 80's look was - I found one leftover Ann Klein jacket in a sort of jungle print with the HUGE shoulder pads, a necklace with the carved wooden animals, huge earrings and I tried to fluff my hair but it just wouldn't do it - I think this look is why I don't have a single can of hairspray in my cabinets!

One lady came in the leggings with the leg warmers, a sweatshirt and headband and the big hair - of course, she wasn't even 10 in the 80's so I know that wasn't HER leftover clothes. Plus she still had a cute little figure that she could wear the leggings.

Scary part is, BIG HAIR like this is still seen all too frequently around here!

Knorr's Spinach Dip!!! I only make it once or twice a year because...

I wind up eating it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner until it's gone. I like it with pumpernickle (sp?) bread rather than the Hawaiian sweet bread.

OMgosh! What a great response. Thank you, thank you!

This party is still just a sparkle in my eye, but should mature before Halloween, I hope!

I linked just the 80's, but be sure to scroll all the way up to top for more decades...

I posted the URL specifically for the 80's which hit only part of the page. There is so much more information scrolling both up and down. It's way fun. Brings back some memories.

I must still be in the 80's because these recipes (above) all look good to me!

Except for the cold vegetable soup - ugh!

And by the way, I didn't like the fashions of the 80's even when I was IN the 80's! lol
