It looked great, but a little too expensive (I may end up going back to get it anyway though!).

It was in with the cheeses, and it was some sort of cranberry relish? caramel? accompaniment for the cheese (camembert). It had nuts in it and was not cranberry sauce, but had a "stiffer" consistency. Kind of like Any ideas on what it might have been? It didn't have a name on the label. Kind of like the consistency of a jar of hot fudge topping in the refrigerator! It intrigued me, thought I might make some to take to Thanksgiving.

If it was in with the cheese could it have been quince paste? I like to serve some

with a cheese platter. (Although it doesn't have nuts in it.)

Maybe - how do you serve it - just spread on the cheese? It was with

the fig "cake" with almnonds (dark, chewy, and a lot like this stuff I saw there made from cranberries), so that's what it was, probably.

I'll ask next time I go. If you're there, take a look! (Looked good!)

It is a cheese topping - very sweet, slightly tart + they had caramel nut. Very interesting flavor.

There are several yummy sounding recipes for baked brie with cranberry topping. Maybe google this.
