and dip the scoop into the water and work the handle back and forth a few times after 4-6 cookies.
I've found that the metal scoops work better than the plastic ones. I have some of ewach and go back to the metal ones time after time.
I just scoop up a little more than I really want and let the scoop stay goopy. After a while you
can judge just how much is correct. There is really no way to keep the scoop clean except by dipping it in water after each couple of scoops and that sometimes affects the dough.
