ISO: ISO Ang/AK - can you see the volcano and are y'all okay?

It's kindof thrilling to have this happen but scary too. Hope all is well with you and your fellow Ancorites.

HA! I was at our cabin all weekend, where I can see the volcano, but it happened after I left.

I heard about it this morning. The ash bypassed us down there and here in Anchorage, but is settling north of us in the "Valley". And, I forgot to cover my TV and lamps etc this time. go figure. I may still have some ash dust to clean off when I go down again this weekend. Many flights have been cancelled. Jets + ash = possible disaster. So if any of you were planning to come visit today or tomorrow smileys/smile.gif check the flight status.
