I just finished reading it and now I want more of this type of book. I loved reading about the travels in one of the world's best food growing regions, the yacht stories, food stories, shops, La Signora and il Datorre were quite the couple...just a great read. Please anymore suggestions for great, light, summer reading like this, which deals with travels and food?

Our book Club meeting next week wants me to make some of the recipes....Love the book

wish I could read more like that too. Wish I could go back to that life again...my SIL (on his mega yacht) has sent glowing reports of the Croatian area they have been sailing in...very beautiful/food great/people wonderful and now they are in Venice and he is loving that. He says the chef on board is offering fantastic meals cooked from local produce with the hint/flavour of the area....AHHHH

I just picked up "Stolen Figs and other adventuresin Calabria" by (more)

Mark Rotella at the library.
Looks to be very good.
