I'm looking for a new champagne cocktail for the upcoming 50th birthday of a friend. She loved the Blue Moon; maybe something as unique, exotic, and tasty as that?

Here are 135 Champagne drink recipes, including a Bali Hai

If you didn't like the Bali High you'd probably be to zonked to complain:

BALI HIGH

2 oz light rum
1 oz aguardiente brandy
2 oz fresh lime juice
2 oz fresh lemon juice
1 tsp orgeat syrup
1 tsp grenadine syrup
fill with Champagne

Shake ingredients (except champagne) with cracked ice and pour into a collins glass. Fill with champagne.

Rec: Bermuda Sunset

This is on my list. It is from "A taste of Carribean" by Angela Spencely

Cheers!
Barb

1 oz Grenadine
1 oz OJ
1 oz Gold Rum
1 oz champagne

See if you can find a margarita glass for this one, as the layers are especially attractive

Pour the ingredients in the order listed, being careful not to disturb each layer.

Tickled Pink Cocktail

Tickled Pink Cocktail

6 tablespoons Grand Marnier or other orange liqueur

6 tablespoons pineapple juice

6 tablespoons Malibu run or other coconut flavored rum

1 tablespoon grenadine

1 750-ml bottle chilled Champagne

Place first 5 ingredients in cocktail shaker. Shake 15 seconds, then strain cocktail into 6 Champagne glasses, dividing equally (generous 3 tablespoons each). Divide Champagne among glasses and serve.
