I have a custom cookbook at Zaar (Gail's Recipe Swap Cookbook) where I've collected together the various recipes I collected from Gail's over the years. I want to make sure the credit goes where credit is due! smileys/smile.gif

If you have a Zaar account and you've posted some Gail's recipes, could you point the way to them? I'd like to add them to the cookbook!

Thanks, gang! I wouldn't be half as skilled in cooking today if it wasn't for the tips I've gotten from you all over the years. Thank you so much!

Oh, and some of the ones I have posted I don't know who they came from, so...

...if you know, please tell me! smileys/smile.gif

I have one that I got years ago

It's for a Watergate cake. It's the one where you add pistachio pudding to a white cake and some frost with coolwhip and more pudding, but I like a cream cheese frosting. If you want the recipe let me know.

No, sorry. I just have a copy of it, but.....

if you tell me how to do it I would be happy to post it. I'm new to all this stuff so any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I see everyone has their recipes as an attachment. How do they do that?
Thanks Lj

Go to RecipeZaar.com and sign up for a free account. smileys/smile.gif Then...

...click on the link for "My Page" and scroll down, looking on the left column for "Post a Recipe." Then just follow the directions. It's pretty darn easy, and RZ is a great place to store and share recipes. My user name there is "Julesong." I recommend changing your username from the default they give you to something distinctive. "Lorijean" might be available.

Once your recipe(s) is entered, select "Make Recipe Public" and the site will go through a process of making it available to everyone. It sometimes takes 1-2 days. Until then, the recipe is stored under "My Private Recipes" in the left column of "My Page."

Then the recipe will go to a public internet link which has a number on the end (the number the recipe has been assigned to), such as:

http://www.recipezaar.com/254445

Which happens to be Savory Zucchini Parmesan Bread.

Then you can use the link by putting it in the FinerKitchens Forum posting page space under the text box that says "Link URL" and you put the title of the recipe (or whatever link you're wanting to be make available for folks to get to) under "Link Title" and that's it! Ta da! smileys/smile.gif

Hope that's helpful!
