what 3 bunches of spinach weighs?? I wanted to buy bagged spinach but am not sure how many etc.

Would baby spinach work as well, or should it be adult spinach? smileys/wink.gif

Also, there were a lot of pan questions--would one 9 x 13 Pyrex type pan fit all, or do I need 2?

TIA!!

I always use baby spinach, so that will work fine. I don't know how much three bunches of spinach

would be in the US, but over here a bunch weighs between 250 - 500 grams, or from 0,5 - 1 pounds as you would say. Most bags here are sold at 0,5 pounds. Does that fit with your recipe?

I make my lasagna in a 9x13 inch pan, but it has high walls - almost two inches. I like my lasagna made in several layers, but that's a matter of taste.

Hi Mo, it's not such an exact amount. A large bag of baby spinach would do.

I have used the oversize bags of baby spinach at Costco and gotten two recipes' worth. Sorry I don't have a weight but I would err on the side of too much spinach instead of too little. It cooks way down.

I find a 9 x 13 Pyrex dish (3 qts.) a little snug, but it still works. Put a baking sheet under to catch any drips. I prefer a 10 x 15 Pyrex pan (4 qts.), or two 8 x 8 (2 qt.) pans.

Good luck! It's a very forgiving recipe.
