Whenever my friend decides to host a party, I know I'm in for a recipe search. The menu is for approximately 25 people--all women at a baby shower. Brunch food will be served. The soon to be grandmother, who is the host of this affair, is searching for a beverage to provide. She will be serving quiche, salads, etc.

At the last little get together we served champagne with various fruit syrups; just wondering if you would have something different to offer in the way of a beverage? Thanks for your help!

It's a Boy!

The parents and grandparents wanted to keep it a surprise, but the blue invitations, a selection of blue bedding request, and the purchase of pounds and pounds of blue M&M kind of gave it away!

Our friendly banter is not helping you find a beverage. Here are 2 links for punch recipes.

and click on the link for the other. You could use a packet of blue jello to color a light colored punch blue. Maybe a white sangria or a light punch with 7-up and pineapple juice and lemon vodka and lemonade? Or without the vodka for non-alcohol. Or, maybe just make some blue ice cubes with the blue jello, watered down and frozen.

I don't but the drink sure does. It is far better than the reg & such a pretty coral colour results

Last night H squeezed 18 ($1.98) of the lemons into a bottle. They sure are juicy. Far more so than their larger cousins.

(Boy, that's a lot of drinks)

Thank you, All, for the Baby Shower Drink Suggestions...

I'll pass this along to my friend. Personally, I would love the blue martini, Marilyn, but I'll have to see if she likes the idea.

Since you may use alcohol, there's one called a Caribbean Sunset, blue, using blue curacao and

cream. Very feminine drink. Served in a champagne flute.

Let me know if you want this one.
