I am down and out with a cold and made this last night - just what the doctor ordered! I'm looking forward to having it again tonight.

I'm thinking of these tweaks - would love to get your opinion.

1) I thought the turkey was a bit bland so I thought that I would first make mini turkey meatballs (that, in the turkey mixtures, would have garlic, ginger, salt and pepper) and brown them a tad before add them to the broth to finish cooking.

2) Use a small pasta shape that can fit on a spoon. (I couldn't find chinese noodles at our local grocer so I used linguine - not a perfect match).

I will be making this recipe (or some version of it:) over and over again - thank you!!

Deb

(Oh yes - I added a bit of chili paste to the broth too)

Deb-so sorry you are not feeling well! Hopefully you will be feeling better today...

As for the soup, you are right about needing more heat, I wrote in my notes to add some red pepper flakes but I think the chili paste is a better idea. And, I LOVE the idea of little meatballs. I just may have to try it again with these. It is a very tweakable recipe!

Take care of yourself,
Barbara
