Barbara, I tried making the Toffee Crunchers and must have done something wrong. I could barely get the dough to hold togther enough to make a very mishappen cookie. After ten minutes abking they don't even look any different, (no spreading at all) but they do taste good. Is there supposed to be an egg or something to bind it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Miss Lola! Sorry for the delay in response, been working too much! I have made these...

several times and once had a similar thing happen. To me it appeared that I had too much "filling" and not enough cookie dough to hold it all together. I made another half batch of dough and mixed it in and it worked just fine. I thought I had just been too heavy handed with the fillers, curious that a similar situation happened to you. Not sure this helps much!

Thanks Barbara, I think I will try to make these again. We

really liked the flavor. Maybe I will add an egg, may help it hold together a bit better.
Happy Baking!
