Barbecued Shrimp from Ron in Worcester ...

Hello,

I found many BBQ Shrimp recipes listed at the old Kitchen Seek, but this one seems to fit your description the most.

By the way, if you want to check out more recipes at the Kitchen Seek, I've posted the link for you. Search for both "Barbecued Shrimp" and "BBQ Shrimp" - different recipes will come up under each.

BARBECUED SHRIMP

5 lbs. large shrimp (headless)
2 sticks (1 cup) butter
1 cup olive oil
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 lemons, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced (more, MORE!!!)
4 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. parsley, minced (more!)
1 large onion, sliced
2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. dried oregano
3 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
2 Tbsp. liquid smoke (optional)
1 cup dry white wine
2 bay leaves
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Wash shrimp well and spread out in a large shallow pan. Combine all other ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a slow boil and simmer over low heat for about 3 minutes. Pour over shrimp and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours or overnight.

Preheat oven to 300º F. and bake shrimp for 30 minutes, turning at least every 10 minutes. Serve in soup bowl with French bread.

You're welcome, Ang. Yes, Ron has posted here before, but I haven't seen him for awhile.

I just did a search on his name, and yes, he does post. I should have checked before posting.

He had lots of good recipes.
