to complete my menu.
Cold Marinated fillets of Sole with pignoli and raisins
Mushroom & Parmesan salad with optional black truffle.
STuffed breast of veal
Scalloped Potatoes -Julia Child
Green pea and watercress puree
Lettuce salad
Fresh figs stuffed with raspberry cream
Poached peaches in custard
Chocolate cake (I made a blue whale for my
grandson's birthday cake- it went the length
of my dining room table!!)Lots left over.
Spice cake with seafoam frosting - although I
would have liked some kind of cheese cake but
with the desserts it is probably best this way.
I may make a sorbet to separate the first & second courses if I have time and also some
savory biscotti.
